To kick off 2021, Bed Bath and Beyond has announced the next 43 stores that will shutter their doors, most by the end of February. Bed Bath & Beyond has previously announced a liquidation plan that will result in the closure of nearly 200 stores by 2022.
While these stores generated almost $1 Billion in revenue in 2019, the plan is expected to help the company save up to $350 million in expenses annually.
While the closure of these stores is significant, the brand has said they hope to move around 15% of the business being done in these locations online. The stores that will close in the first quarter of 2021 are:
